Original Juvenile & Adult Books
Whether it is an original pitch for a book idea or series, or an in-house idea that needs an author to bring it to life, I am always up for the challenge. I have published 10+ original children's books and series, including my popular Happily Ever Afterlife middle-grade series, which sold over 500,000 copies in Scholastic Fairs & Clubs.
For those who are open to submissions, I've written and published original manuscripts -- both fiction and nonfiction -- for kids ages 0-12. I also have experience writing YA and adult fiction.

Brand & Licensing Projects
With more than 10 years experience writing books for ages 0-12 based on brands and licenses, I am extremely skilled in understanding a brand's voice and personality, and then transferring that to the page. I have written over 50 television, brand, and movie tie-in books ranging from board and novelty books to digest-size novelizations and adaptations.
I have worked with several major licensors and companies including Mattel, Disney, DreamWorks, Cartoon Network, LEGO, Sony Animation, and Nickelodeon. I am knowledgable about the licensed publishing process through my work as both a writer and editor with major publishers such as Simon & Schuster, Little, Brown, HarperCollins, Scholastic, and Reader's Digest.
